The ACP Electric Truck
In 1995 (Note: 30 years BEFORE the electric vehicles of today), ACP built one of the world’s first entirely composite electric trucks (UEV). This UEV won two ACE Awards for technical innovation and composite excellence. ACP received widespread acclaim for it’s design, development and fabrication. Not to mention that this project went from an initial concept to a running vehicle in only 9 months!
The Statue of Liberty on the Susquehanna
Most Pennsylvania residents and tourists alike have seen the mini-version of the Statue of Liberty when travelling along Route 322 North of Harrisburg. Many of us have also heard that it was built by a group of ‘kids’ out of venetian blinds and miscellaneous materials. BUT did you know that since it was originally placed in the 1980’s, ACP rebuilt the landmark to be a permanent fixture in the Susquehanna River? The Statue of Liberty that stands on the empty railroad piling in the river today was built by ACP in 1997.
The MTV ‘FIST’
A prime example of ACP’s versatility!
This 9’x9′ fist was made for MTV to use at promotional events.
Pike’s Peak International Hill Climb Winning GMC Envoy
ACP designed, fabricated and built the carbon fiber body for
this GMC Envoy that went on to win the 2000 Pike’s Peak Hill
Climb in Colorado Springs, CO.
